  1. It is hurting me to wathh this
My family doesn’t understand and they blame me for my ‘shyness ‘
I literally feel like.crying when I know other ppl are like this also

  2. People that think, social anxiety and being shy are the same things, obviously does not have social anxiety! They are completely different,

am shy and depressed , i hate socializing

  4. I get Social Anxiety when I eat in resturants 🙁 Someone help?

  5. this is so hard to deal with. i feel that everyone around me is judging me. i believe its because ive been made fun of since i was 5

  6. I was terribly shy, my solution was to change from shy to introvert. Being shy person was like being very afraid everyone’s opinion, but fuck them. I am a proud introvert now. I value myself and my emotions. Morrissey and Belle and Sebastian help A LOT. 🙂

  7. In general, it’s easier for Americans with social anxiety because it affects about 5% of them. I’ve never seen another Irish person with social anxiety, people treat me like I’m some kind of mutant

  8. mine are not social just general anxiety disorder meds do help a lot like zanax .don’t be scared to take it either.

Social Anxiety Disorder. The abbreviation=S.A.D. Ironic, huh?

  10. no it’s more like saying a lemon and hydrochloric acid are the same thing. they are both acidic but they’re still completely different. seriously. shy people don’t live in mental hospitals. they don’t not leave their homes for days on end. they don’t have literally no friends in life. they don’t, as adults, have to live with their parents or in hospitals because they can’t get a job due to social anxiety.

  11. i literally do not have one single friend outside of my family members and my cat. i only leave the house to go to therapy and grocery shopping (which i have to do at like 3 or 4 AM to avoid panic attacks). i don’t have a job or go to school and i’m 21 years old. i have no friends, i’m so lonely i hate it. i hate panic attacks and social anxiety. i just want to get better. i’ve been to 4 therapists in 7 years and i’m not at all better. i hate this 🙁

  12. Long Post: They showed this video when I was in 8th grade. Being jacked on from prescription amphetamines, I was making jokes and laughing. The presenter told me those who laughed at this were the most affected by being uncomfortable with themselves. I could not had cared what she said as I felt fine about myself. When summer came around that year I fell into social anxiety with a vengeance. It has been 4 1/2 years and I am just now making progress. This has only been after trying every medicine

  13. Well they’re not COMPLETELY different are they. Thats like a saying a lemon and a lime are completely different. They are actually PRETTTY SIMILAR.

wel im 30 and still have social anxiety, exposure therapy just get me worst.

  15. 28 yrs of age and now i find out about selective mutism. unreal. i was that little girl. i’m glad she got diagnosed and got help. unlike me.

  16. This was painful to watch, in particular the way adults responded to the little girl Kayla. I stopped watching after that. It seems that in the US no one is allowed to just be quiet. Some people are introverted and hate involvement in groups or speaking in public. She’s sure to grow up feeling shame about who she is just beacuse she is quiet and introverted. a non-judgemental attitude towards her personality, accepting and valuing her for who she is and the qualities she has already.

With social media, communication is changing. Im scared for the kids that have to grow up 20 years from now, because there pretty much screwed in terms of face to face communication

  19. Social Anxiety and Shyness are completely different things!

  20. Unfortunately, the only thing that I have found so far that has helped me with my Social Anxiety is benzodiazepines. I tried SSRI’s and MAOI’s, didn’t help at all and had adverse side effects. Although benzodiazepines are very strong and can definitely have some serious side effects, in my opinion, the side effects are worth it. They’ve helped me advance in my job and turn me into a very sociable person without getting me all high and “fucked up”, if you will.

  21. Thank you very much for the upload and I hope this video gets more views, so more people and society in general become aware of it and become able to comprehend it. As of right now, only a couple people in my life are even partially able to understand it, even though I’ve explained it to close friends and family over and over. Hopefully someday in the near future the majority of society will come to understand this disorder. Again, thank you very much for this upload!

  22. Very happy that SAD is finally getting some attention. It’s so serious, and it’s hard to believe that this video’s statistics are correct, that it’s the third most common mental disorder in the United States. I’ve only come across a couple of people in my entire life, other than myself of course, that have this disorder, or at least a couple people that I was able to notice. This problem almost killed me because it wasn’t diagnosed for so long, and I had no idea what was wrong with me.

Recently I’d been getting anxiety attacks that usually resulted in fainting, mainly in public places, and also on a date once. It was humiliating and very dangerous. So i used medication but soon the effects wore off. Googling one day I discovered a brief video and thought I would give it a try. the technique worked straight away! Because i’m not scared and understand i’m able to handle any attack, the attacks disappeared. watch the short video at makeanxietygoaway . com and get your life back

  24. I came from Africa, and I have never seen a person with social anxiety. I have seen shy or coy people. However, that was it. I believe Western societies- North America, Australia, and Europe- tend overanalyze shit mostly for profit. Yes, we had mentally ill people in Africa- you know crazy folks who run naked in the street or bang their head on a wall- but nothing like the cascade of mental disorders in America and Europe. In the west, they seem to medically treat every idiosyncrasy. ADHD, oh .

  25. Very effective treatments!!!! Bullshit. He means pharmaceuticals, baby. These people are just shy- do not blow it out of proportion. Anxiety is normal, but incessant anxiety is abnormal. People must look at their diet- sugar, salt , caffeine, nicotine, cocaine, etc., On other hand, it could be environmental toxicant- bisphenol-A, lead, mercury, aluminum ,etc., A third cause is lack of social support network- AKA family and community. The fourth cause is genetics, but I do not stress it.

  26. Been slacking with these. Watching the videos is fun; playing is… well, also fun! My third placement match was against a bronze level terran who didn’t really do anything. Guess I gave him ladder anxiety?

  27. I was up PvP and I was expanding with a big income, my enemy wasn’t he had a wallup of photon cannons which I destroyed because it was backed by one pylon, after a while he massed pylon’s there so I didn’t think it was worth my army to attack those cannons because maybe he had an army, then I camped outside his base saw his Void Rays which didn’t even make halfway to my base and he left gg-less

  28. YouCan’tNotPoolAsZerg

  29. I killed the protoss early proxy pylon with ling roach and as soon as I showed up at his natural he gave a gg.

  30. Hah could be but I feel that nutrition is really important and if you don’t eat you ain’t getting nutrients

  31. It is called “simple command card”.

  32. Isnt that where bulimia starts?:D

  33. It’s defaulted.

  34. how does husky set up the “w” hot key for warpgates?

  35. Jonathan Bennett Reply April 7, 2013 at 1:39 pm

Was in bronze league last season :L played through my placement matches and in platinum?!?!

  36. I have the same attitude when it comes to my body and my martial arts, I hate my body and I suck at martial arts, this is why I work on that shit so much. If I ever say “I’m good at martial arts” or “I’m in shape” I fear that I’ll get sedetary. Not interested in that happening.

  37. Homework. If you’re in high school, or a non-hard-science major in college there really isn’t a need to do homework.

  38. Well mate probes and pylons I went from rank 60 bronze to rank 1 silver in a month all I did was play for an hour a day before I went to bed and worked on pumping out them probes and pylons and it got me there!

    Keep it up! Good Luck!

    Peace be with you.

  39. A tvt that lasted about 45 minutes, the other person went mostly marines, with some medivacs, tanks, and Vikings. I had some marine/marauder/medivac until he crushed my base, I lifted of and obliterated all attempts into my new base with some tanks, gg’ed due to being completely shut out on economy

  40. i dont do the homework cuz i play so many ladder games anyway

  41. PvZ I fought against zergling baneling and muta with gateway units and two immortals XD hard as hell but i came out on top from blink stalkers against those mutas!

  42. WooblyShnufflepops Reply April 7, 2013 at 5:40 pm

3rd placement match, my Terran opponent tries going mech but I just doom drop his main and win with it.

  43. Hey husky been dedicated more to doing ladder after watching this series. I was put into bronze was kinda disappointed. BUT after getting my builds down and everything now I am High silver league and about to get into gold 1v1! 😀

  44. MAN i want THIS GAME I WOULD PLAY PROTOSS 24/7!! FTW!!

  45. nachoneitzscheese Reply April 7, 2013 at 6:42 pm

My Protoss opponent went forge first, didn’t cannon rush, and didn’t expand until ten minutes. My MMM crushed face despite coming out 3 minutes late.

  46. I ended up in a TvZ. Scouted an early Baneling nest, delayed my expansion to rush out a few siege tanks and defend my wall (which I barely kept alive on his first attack with quick repairs), while a single Widow Mine kept his expansion clear. Eventually, I sent out a single Medivac/Marine drop into his main, and began to press an army out onto the map. One stim later, his main was drone-free and I got the GG. If I had scouted any later, I might not have reacted in time to the baneling bust.

  47. PvP
    planet s
enemy was silver, he went for a proxy 2gate, i died 🙁
    won 2/3 placements

  48. You should begin with a mothershipo core into an expansion. That way you can get enoguht moneys for what you want most of the times. If you are safe or don t try to go for a 2 base push then take a 3rd.

  49. Videos like this remind me why I’m perfectly content to just sit back and watch ladder matches rather than engage in them myself. 🙂
